Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Tap2Lingo mobile application ("the App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By downloading, installing, or using Tap2Lingo, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. This App is rated 9+ and suitable for all ages. If you are under 18, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the App or making purchases.
Tap2Lingo is a multilingual dictionary and translation app that provides word translations, pronunciation audio, grammar information, and language learning tools. The App uses third-party APIs and data sources to provide translation services.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tap2Lingo for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. The free trial begins automatically when you first use the App. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, you will continue with limited free access.

Prices are displayed in your local currency within the App and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect active subscription periods.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tap2Lingo
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by starting to use the App immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that:

While we strive to provide accurate translations and pronunciation, Tap2Lingo relies on third-party data sources and cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Translations should be used for reference and learning purposes only. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or consequences resulting from the use of translations provided by the App, including but not limited to professional, academic, or legal contexts.
The App uses third-party services including translation providers, dictionary services, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies. Service interruptions from third-party providers do not entitle you to refunds.
All content, features, and functionality of Tap2Lingo (including but not limited to design, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Translation content may be subject to third-party rights.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
If you have a dispute with us, please first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the issue informally. We will endeavor to respond within 14 days.
For EU consumers: You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App with at least 30 days notice for material changes. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the App.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App immediately ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For consumers in the European Economic Area, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tap2Lingo regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
