Tap2Lingo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Tap2Lingo is operated from the Czech Republic.
Tap2Lingo stores your preferences, selected languages, favorites, search history, and app settings locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location data.
When you use translation features, your search queries are sent to third-party translation services. These queries are not linked to your identity and are processed anonymously.
Tap2Lingo uses the following types of third-party services to provide functionality:
Translation Services: Your search queries are sent to third-party translation providers for processing. These services may collect anonymous usage data according to their privacy policies. No personally identifiable information is sent with your queries.
Dictionary Services: Grammar and language information may be retrieved from third-party dictionary providers. Queries are anonymous.
RevenueCat: Manages subscription services. RevenueCat processes purchase data through Apple and may collect anonymous device identifiers for subscription management. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store: Handles all payment processing for subscriptions. Apple manages your payment information according to their privacy policy.

Tap2Lingo is rated 9+ and is designed to be safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users of any age. No account creation is required, and all data is stored locally on the device. Parents and guardians can manage App purchases through Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time features.

Translation queries may be processed by servers located outside your country. These transfers are necessary to provide the translation service and are conducted using secure, encrypted connections.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide notice through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
